I have a cluster of 11 machines, all linux, most of them are Ubuntu 8.04, but I have also a Ubuntu 10.04 and a Debian 5. In all of them I see the message "prefork: sysread(20) failed after 300 secs at /usr/local/share/perl/5.8.8/Mail/SpamAssassin/spamdFormScaling.pm line 654" It seems that is not a serious problem, but the message is quite frequent.
