Can't find anything making sense at line 1143 in my editor in this line there is $self->{qmail_scanner_env_from} = $envfrom; # hack! which is never executed because the regex 3 lines before doesn't match and even if it would match another regex (not responsible for this case) would match miles before this code point is reached.
