Will take a look into it... You're right but I wasn't able to track the problem in the limited amount of time I had. There was a discrepancy between actual open/close and $self->{whatever keeps track of being opened} IIRC but I have lost track in tracing through several modules. In my experience redis reconnection is pretty fast and doesn't seem to consume resources, but obviosuly it's preferred that the connection stays active _and_ SA is aware of that. > So unless one is unreasonable with a number of processes and their > lifetimes, the redis server should be able to survive.
