There are issues with xt tests and some disttests. The script to create a rules release from the update rules isn't working either. But there is a 3.4.3-rc1 at http://talon2.pccc.com/~kmcgrail/devel/
You'll have to use sa-update to get a ruleset right now though you can download and install a ruleset to sa-update manually. This rc1 is on production systems but is likely to uncover some issues.
