            Bug ID: 7789
           Summary: From:name evaluate incorrectly
           Product: Spamassassin
           Version: 3.4.2
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Plugins

  Target Milestone: Undefined

Hello,

I'm using the plugin Fromnamespoof triying to match the spoofed address in the
>From name field, but it is not doing it well because the From:name in the
PerMsgStatus structure is getting the header bad.

The From header in the spoofed mail is:

From: "Bea Pino <[email protected]>"
<[email protected]>

the plugin take the From:name

$fnd{'addr'} = $pms->get("From:name");

but it is getting

fromname -> "Bea Pino

so it can't check the expr and the mail does not match against the rule.

For debug I have writen the From:name, From:addr and From:raw and this is what
I get

fromname -> "Bea Pino
fromaddr -> [email protected]
fromraw -> "Bea Pino <[email protected]>"
<[email protected]>

would not be the From:name "Bea Pino <[email protected]>" and not only
"Bea Pino?

Thank you.
