This log has nothing to do with it. Show me the "dns:" or "async:" lines from debug log to prove it or DNS logs. For the matter of having *_networks automatically cover all private networks.. I think there's probably many discussions of this in bugs before. I can think of many scenarios where it isn't a good default, so better leave it to the user.
