Hi Giovanni, 

That is correct, I have ran the tests as root, which are also launched
automatically during installation/uprgading through CPAN. 

Do you recommend then by that to install SpamAssassin 4.0.2 straight from the
sources and skip CPAN?

I confirm that tests ran by a non root user PASS, apart from this one:

t/sa_check_spamd.t ................ 6/7 Failed to create connection to spamd
daemon: Connection refused

Is that a normal condition, when running tests as a non-root user? I guess
starting spamd daemon requires root privileges.
Kindly appreciate your advice.
