Wise (wise.com) is a money transfer company. It is listed as Wise Group plc
(Nasdaq: WSE; LSE: WISE).
We send system-generated account and security emails from
[email protected] and [email protected]. These emails are transactional:
we send them only when something happens on the customer's own account, for
example a login from a new device. They contain no marketing. Our marketing
emails use a different subdomain, info.wise.com.
Wise reported almost 12 million active customers in the quarter that ended on
30 June 2026, and 18.9 million in fiscal year 2026. We send 70 million
transactional emails per week.
account.wise.com is not a human mailbox. Its only MX record is
feedback-smtp.eu-west-1.amazonses.com, which receives bounces and complaints.
We send through Amazon SES.
The mail passes SPF and has a valid author domain DKIM signature (SPF_PASS,
DKIM_VALID_AU). wise.com publishes DMARC with p=reject, adkim=r and pct=100.
account.wise.com has no DMARC record of its own, so the wise.com policy
applies.
Some receivers mark these emails as spam because of the DCC bulk rules. In one
example the score was 4.901 with required=4.86. DCC_CHECK and DCC_REPUT_99_100
gave 4.5 of these points.
