@liancheng hey Cheng - good catch on this! Would you mind adding a unit
test for this case? Checkout `BlockManagerSuite` there are several tests in
there already. Ideally we'd have a test case that the old implementation failed
but is handled correctly with your fix, just so it's crystal clear the case
this is covering.
