We intentionally dropped Hadoop 2 binary distribution from the Apache Spark 3.4 release process, considering Hadoop 3 binary distribution is recommended for all Hadoop clusters. Please see SPARK-40651 <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SPARK-40651> . The option to download Spark 3.4.0 with Hadoop2.7 has been removed from the Downloads page to avoid confusion.
