Hi everyone, Two things we need from your project for the hackathon at Community over Code Glasgow (October 11–14):
1. CLAIM YOUR HACKATHON ROOM SLOT (by end of this week, Aug 22) The hackathon room schedule is live and filling up. Each half-day slot holds up to 5 projects. Please claim yours by submitting a PR adding your project name to an open slot: https://github.com/apache/comdev-events-site (edit source/events/2026/community-over-code/hackathon.md) Preview the schedule: https://events.apache.org/events/2026/community-over-code/hackathon.html If you don't have a slot by end of week, we can't guarantee room availability for your project. 2. PUBLISH YOUR TASK LIST (by August 31) We need a page listing the tasks, issues, or docs work that participants can hack on. Submit a PR using sampleproject.md as a template: https://github.com/apache/comdev-events-site (copy source/events/2026/community-over-code/sampleproject.md) Even a short list of 3–5 "good first issues" with links is enough. If we don't have a task list from your project by end of August, we'll assume you're no longer participating and remove you from the hackathon page.
