Thank you all for sharing your invaluable feedback. This thread was initiated intentionally only for `Dropping Java 17` because I also don't think we need to drop Java 21 at Spark 5. And, I believe we built a community consensus on it.
To Cheng, I'd like to recommend you to file a JIRA issue for your suggestion on dropping Java 21. You may lead future community discussion later independently instead of Spark 5 context.
