    Hey @CodingCat - I'd like to get more feedback from other users of this 
feature before merging this in. Once we add an option we need to continue to 
support for the entire lifecycle of Spark 1.X so I just want to see if other 
people want this as well. I'm just not sure what the ideal retry options are... 
so I want to give time for others to give feedback on the JIRA etc.
