Thank you [~iwasakims] for investigating feasibility of this feature request!
The PostgreSQL JDBC driver seems to be distributed with BSD license that is
compatible with ASL per the [wiki|http://www.apache.org/legal/3party.html], so
I think that it should be fine to use this API.
