so ago to discuss the thoughts around Sqoop 2.   It is good to use this as the

Some of the features mentioned here have JIRAs recently created.  We should 
create additiona; JIRAs for missing items.

I also expect Sqoop 1.x to evolve also during this period and it would be good 
to keep track of the changes in Sqoop 1.x and bring them to Sqoop 2 as needed
