Some things to think about.
- Do we have a set of generic validators for the supported types?
--- implement the validate method for each of the supported types
- Even Schema validation is good idea/ number of columns
- Do we support custom validators? Needs refactoring
- make this configurable ( so a job can skip it if need be )
