I get the same error exporting blob data to mysql with sqoop1. Is there any 
workaround or patch?

org.apache.sqoop.mapreduce.TextExportMapper: Exception:
java.io.IOException: Could not buffer record
        at 
org.apache.sqoop.mapreduce.AsyncSqlRecordWriter.write(AsyncSqlRecordWriter.java:218)
....
Caused by: java.lang.CloneNotSupportedException: com.cloudera.sqoop.lib.BlobRef
