I agree with you. I also tried hive import with lastmodified incremental mode
and it didn't work .
I believe we have two options:
1. Remove append check and add incremental last modified check with the similar
error(Not supported as of now).
2.In the newly added if condition add one more which says donot validate if
incremental mode is append.
Please share your [~jarcec] [[email protected]] thoughts on this approach.
Please let us know if you are reopening this issue or creating a new one.
