Hi Joseph, I have never searched for libs with such a functionality, but while working on the Stanford NLO integration I noted that it does contain a module that does exactly this (in English). I do not know how independent this is from all the other modules. Note also that this code is GPL, so it might also come with some licenses difficulties (depending on your use case).
