Hi Stanbol community,
Yesterday, there was an interesting discussion at Stanbol IRC channels
regarding new ideas for GSoC 2014. I would like to summarize them and
also to aim the community to provide feedback/opinions before putting
them as stories in Jira. Of course, more suggestions or ideas are
welcomed. Besides these ones, you can find a list of already proposed

1. Enhancements Workflows: Already defined at STANBOL-1008
(https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/STANBOL-1008)
2. TopicClassification: currently there is a single implementation of a
topic classifier by Olivier Grisel
(https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/STANBOL-197). The idea is to
design a Topic Classification API in Stanbol and to provide different
implementations like, for instance, one based on Apache Mahout.
3. YAGO EntityHub site: YAGO is another great semantic knowledge base
that would be nice to support in Stanbol. There are also several
interesting tools around YAGO like Aida, an entity detection and
disambiguation tool for YAGO Knowledge Base.
