Currently there are 55 test failures (for both JDK 7 and OpenJDK 8): https://builds.apache.org/view/S-Z/view/Stanbol/job/stanbol-trunk-openjdk-8/lastBuild/testReport/ I therefore think that Stanbol trunk should be considered broken.
