Hi David, Originally I was not planing mentoring in this years GSoC. But I am still interested in the Topic Classification related issues (see e.g. STANBOL-1294). So if you would like to work on this topic I would consider mentoring.
Your Job would be to write different Topic Classifier for Apache Stanbol based on existing Frameworks (such as OpenNLP Doccat, Apache Mahout, ...). A good proposal would also need to suggest some models to be trained on available datasets to allow for validation. best Rupert [1] https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/STANBOL-1294 On Tue, Mar 15, 2016 at 12:11 PM, David Arroyo <arroyoescobarda...@gmail.com> wrote: > Hi, > > I am David Arroyo, undergraduate Software Engineer at University of > Seville, Spain and I am graduate in a Superior Grade Formative Course on > multi-platform application development. > > During last months, I have been following the mailing list and also > reviewing some open issues (some of them tagged as gsoc gsoc2015).
