Hi David,

Originally I was not planing mentoring in this years GSoC. But I am
still interested in the Topic Classification related issues (see e.g.
STANBOL-1294). So if you would like to work on this topic I would
consider mentoring.

Your Job would be to write different Topic Classifier for Apache
Stanbol based on existing Frameworks (such as OpenNLP Doccat, Apache
Mahout, ...). A good proposal would also need to suggest some models
to be trained on available datasets to allow for validation.
