Nevermind!
For anybody that is facing a similar question, this seems to address the
issue:

Config conf = new Config();
conf.put("TEST-TIMEOUT-MS", 10000);
...
CompleteTopologyParam completeTopologyParam = new CompleteTopologyParam();
completeTopologyParam.setMockedSources(mockedSources);
completeTopologyParam.setStormConf(conf);
