I am seeing repeatable test errors like [this
one](https://github.com/apache/storm/pull/916#issuecomment-161728319) happening
in the TravisCI environment after this was merged. I tested master branch with
these changes reverted, and [the test passed on the first
try](https://travis-ci.org/d2r/storm/builds/94696264).
If we can confirm this is happening for others, I would be in favor of
reverting this change until we can fix the test that is causing problems.
