Hi Devs, I think it's better if we can keep the commit history clean in our repo. It will allow us to clearly see the dev work going on. Here are some articles [1, 2] that explains how to get rid of merge commits and also ways to keep history clean. Basically we can use rebase option in Git to get rid of merge commits.
