I agree with Sameera that the “O” treatment could lead to misreading. I don’t think we need to highlight the OS in stratos (would that stand for open source? OpenStack? Operating system?) In the spirit of choosing a design that is as distilled to essentials I would tend away from more colors than is necessary, and even the gradient fade of #3. So +1 for #1 or #2!
