Hi guys, I wrote a proposal for GSOC this year working about "AWS Load Balancing Support for Stratos" [1]. Honestly I knew about Apache Stratos GSOC2014 projects quite late so I didn't have enough time learning AWS Load Balancing. The proposal is still lack of design. However, I learned HAProxy extension before and just thought doing AWS LB integration on the same way. I will update design documentation soon. Personally It's not too much difficult.
Last year, I have done GSOC with Apache CloudStack project [2] After that, they (CloudStack PMC) invited me to become committer. Then I've continuously contributed two new features for Apache CloudStack including [3] and [4]. This year I'm interesting in higher level in Cloud Computing stack, PaaS specifically. That's why I'm willing to contribute to Apache Stratos project. Would you mind sharing me the mentor of $subject? I will keep in touch with him and update directly on this thread.
