Hi Florian,
just to make sure - you used the installer from 
incubator-streampipes/installer/cli? The old installer repo has also been 
merged into the main repo.

Can you debug the service to see where the service tries to register?
You can set a breakpoint in ConsulProvider, starting from line 61.
