I ran into the same problems with white pages using struts, tiles and the ingetration library - also testing the examples packed with the integration library (struts-faces2). I recognized that the behaviour is better (no blank pages occure) if the controller org.apache.struts.faces.application.FacesTilesRequestProcessor is NOT defined in struts-config.xml. But in this case the submit of forms is not working any more, of course.
