I have provided what I think is a superior rendition of 
SimpleDispatchAction at 
http://wiki.apache.org/struts/StrutsCatalogDispatchUtil , following what 
I think is an excellent suggestion by Hubert Rabago, viz. to use a 
utility class.  Niall decided that was not a good idea because of the 
lack of mapping in the util Hubert briefly discussed.  I have created a 
new Util, separate from Struts.  As I have said in the past, I think 
these classes should not go into Struts but be available on the wiki for 
applications, to avoid fiefdoms in Struts.  All the attempts to add our 
own little two cents to the existing code and bloat the whole business 
into an ego show.  Anyway, please observe the Critics Corner suggestion 
of providing links rather than diatribes to 
thehttp://wiki.apache.org/struts/StrutsCatalogDispatchUtil , so that it 
will remain readable.
