http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=35361 ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2005-06-18 08:45 ------- "Can anyone think of a reason you would _want_ to get back a null?" Yes. I might want to look for a pre-configured forward, and, if one is not found, construct my own based on some other criteria. You might argue that I could just catch the exception and deal with that, but I'd much prefer to see all of the "get me a forward" methods that are part of the framework behave the same way. Besides, it's easy for the action itself to check for null and throw the exception, if that's what you want. -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
