I'm seriously considering coming to JavaOne this year. What should I
expect as far as costs? (Conference Pass, lodging, meals, etc)

Full conference pass is pretty hefty ... $2595 before May 15, $2695
That price is for the Java University program too, which I've never known anyone to do. The price for the regular conference is $1895 for the next few weeks. If you do sign up, put me as a referrer so I can get a free Nano :)

afterwards. Cheapest hotels I have seen this year are around $175/night
I'm staying in one that is $119 (Union Square Hotel) and this will be the most I've spent. This is still only a couple of blocks away. I'm up for sharing a room, too.

You can also just come and attend the parties and pavilion (usually can get a free pass from someone). I spent most of my time at the booth last year anyways. I'd argue hanging out with the other ASF folks and the free beer would be worth the trip right there :)
