Greg Reddin commented on STR-2730: ---------------------------------- Committed TilesContext interface. It is modeled after the WebContext of Commons-Chain. I thought about modeling it after JSF's ExternalContext, but Chain's WebContext seems to be closer to what we are looking for. But I'm open to suggestions. The next step is to update the core API to use TilesContext and complete fleshing out the Context interface. Then we'll need some concrete implementations of the interface. > [Standalone Tiles\ Remove Servlet API Dependencies > -------------------------------------------------- > > Key: STR-2730 > URL: http://issues.apache.org/struts/browse/STR-2730 > Project: Struts Action 1 > Type: Improvement > Components: Sandbox > Versions: Nightly Build > Environment: Operating System: other > Platform: Other > Reporter: Greg Reddin > Assignee: Struts Developer Mailing List > Priority: Minor > > Once the core library is ready we need to refine the API again to depend on a > context class instead of > Servlet classes. This will allow Tiles to be used within JSF and Portlet > environments. Look at commons- > chain and JSF for ideas. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://issues.apache.org/struts/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
