Struts Issue 794 - The bean:message tag should accept Objects as arguments

Hi,

I've noticed that the following issue has been marked as "Closed" with 
the resolution of "Not a Problem".  Can anybody explain why?  This is a 
bug with the current 1.2.x series, and should be a required feature 
within the struts taglibs.

Is it policy to not make any changes to the struts taglibs where jstl 
functionality is available?
