JDK 1.5, with the compiler plugin configured to target 1.4 (in struts1/pom.xml). I'd like to get 'source' and 'target' into the manifests to reassure people that the jars are 1.4 compatible. There is probably some sequence of commands that would deploy the jars with 1.4, then switch to 1.5 to build the site and the distribution assembly. IMO it's not worth the trouble.
