From S1 to S2 is not a trivial change. It's a bit like going from
Maven 1 to Maven 2. All the concepts are the same, but the implemention differs (in a good way!). One thing you can try is adding the S2 JARs to a S1 application. You can then try some new stuff under S2, using an .action extension, and leave the S1 work intact.
