Yeah, I don't think the goal of this effort should be to have the ability to 
plug in whichever EL you want for a particular project. Too confusing. The goal 
should be to make it easy to plug in the EL that's going to be a JSR standard 
coming out of the JSP / JSF EL. They've been listening to suggestions for 
things like projections and method calling, so it should be a powerful enough 
EL.
