WebWork has been using Jive Forums for a very long time. It's not an unknown factor.

Unlike JIRA and Confluence, installing Jive on the zone means that the Struts PMC is completely responsible for its oversight. That includes not just installation and maintenance, but spam filtering and everything else of that ilk.
