I was looking at Paul's idea https://issues.apache.org/struts/browse/WW-2728, about shading commons-lang (just some classes), and getting rid of some of the "helpers" we have all over the place. This would be easy to include in xwork, as we are already shading asm there. Anyone against this? I think it is a very good idea.
