I've started looking at the codebase a bit, since I have found some other issues and dislike submitting bugs unless I can reproduce and have some tech-info on them.
About the namespace issues, since i have very little background on why it is implemented my changes just break the tests (which is good) and proves there is reason why it's implemented that way. Also I cannot get the unit tests to run in eclipse because it (eclipse junit runner) can't load struts-plugin.xml from disk.
