Hi folks, there is a new proposal at the incubator:
http://wiki.apache.org/incubator/CastafioreProposal I asked the creator Kureem if Struts apps could benefit from it and he said "yes". He even tried it out writing some kind of example. As I understood it, it would be possible to make "javascript" components calling java easily. For Struts the chance could be to have some smart, new frontend layer as a plugin. The problem is this proposal will not pass unless more people are interested in this. If there are any interested people here, I suggest you participate the discussion at the incubator general mailing list. I am willing to mentor this podling, if there are enough folks around to support the lib codewise.
