To clarify a bit my idea: - anyone can use "org.apache.struts.plugin: prefix for Java packages, e.g.: "org.apache.struts.plugin.async" - anyone can use "<groupId>org.apache.struts.plugin</groupId>", e.g.:
<groupId>org.apache.struts.plugin</groupId> <artifactId>struts2-async-plugin</artifactId> <version>1.0</version> I'm going to post questions to Sonatype and repository@a.o to see if they have any doubts Regards -- Łukasz + 48 606 323 122 http://www.lenart.org.pl/ 2016-11-13 19:02 GMT+01:00 Lukasz Lenart <lukaszlen...@apache.org>: > If no objections I'm going to post this to PMC's list and wait for a > silent consensus > > > Regards > -- > Łukasz > + 48 606 323 122 http://www.lenart.org.pl/ > > 2016-10-20 8:18 GMT+02:00 Lukasz Lenart <lukaszlen...@apache.org>: >> 2016-10-20 7:56 GMT+02:00 Johannes Geppert <jo...@apache.org>: >>> In generally I really like the idea. >>> But how should maven publish work with this groupId? >> >> Not sure but I think there be no problems - when requesting access via >> Sonatype you must define groupId and artifactId as well.
