I can add a bit more information:

- file handles are used excessively (quoting Johan)
- corruption issues (fsfsverify.py)
Later decided to wait for further reports, since one of stsp's
clients who could regularly reproduce the issues has just upgraded
to a newer release.
- windows packing tests fail
Common opinion: this should be fixable/fixed since it's reproducible.
Johan has looked into this today.
