As some of you know, on Thursday night we had a Subversion meetup in conjunction with ApacheCon. The meetup wasn't too well attended (a separate mail on that will be forthcoming), but Greg and I did have some discussions about wc-ng and 1.7.x and branch date possibilities. After reviewing the roadmap[1], we came to the conclusion that a branch of 1.7.x by the end of the year is feasible.
