The question is why you would want to break it now that it works. Because of HFS+? Isn't what HFS+ does just as broken if you think about it? Why normalise paths in the filesystem if nobody else does it? I'd prefer a universe where svn normalises anything to NFC from the 1.0 release onwards. Alas, we're in the wrong one.
