With [3] resolved, I went ahead and created the 1.15.x release branch. A couple of things failed for me during `release.py create-release-branch`. Those should hopefully be fixed by r1930867 and r1930869. There's one remaining manual step that involves updating the backport merge bot: ``` Ask someone with appropriate access to add the 1.15.x branch to the backport merge bot. See https://subversion.apache.org/docs/community-guide/releasing.html#backport-merge-bot ``` I would appreciate assistance with this part, since I'm not sure I have appropriate access to it.
