I am getting assertion errors for a few days now, for example if I run
  $ wmiir namespace

I'm using libixp rev tip-1 on Arch Linux (libixp packages from AUR, 
kernel 2.6.33-4) with glibc 2.12.

For me, this seems not to be a problem with libixp itself -- but I 
appreciate any tips on what's going wrong here ;-)
