No, dwm is not displaying a mirror. I used xrandr --output VGA1 --left-of LVDS1 to change that. So, my second monitor is showing an extended dwm screen with its own tags. I don't get the link between the mirror behavior and xsetroot ? Is not xsetroot a utility to change the background of the root window ?
