I don't see the reason behind shadow-support. Well, the purpose is to
prevent bruteforcing the password.
However, it's not like a simple login would stop you anyway. If you
want to get someone's data, just mount the drive somewhere else and
access it directly.

I may be wrong, so please correct me if there really are some good
use-cases.
Running pwunconv is trivial, so it's not a hard dependency.
