Actually, having the same kind of setup over ssh as well as locally is neat, to me a terminal session's visible back log might be all the context I need to go on where I left. Therefore I consistently ssh into tmux from tmux and don't mind having to type the prefix send-prefix keys to manipulate the remote session. To each their own, though. :) cheers! mar77i
